Pankaj Kakkar

Pankaj Kakkar is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in leading teams and managing complex projects across major technology companies. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineering Manager at SoFi since May 2022, Pankaj leads multiple teams focused on Loan Monetization initiatives. Previously, as a Staff Software Engineering Manager at Google, Pankaj owned the Google Cloud Console for Open Data Analytics Products, contributing significantly to product development. Previously, Pankaj worked at Facebook on the Ads platform and Marketplace, as well as at Google on various projects including Inbox and Google Talk. Pankaj's career began at Microsoft Corporation as a Software Design Engineer. Pankaj holds a PhD Candidate and M.S. in Computer and Information Science from the University of Pennsylvania and a B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
