Markku Alanko

Markku Alanko is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data management and consultancy. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor and Data Practice Lead at Sofigate since August 2021, Markku leads the evolution of the data practice to support clients in digital business transformation. As the CEO and Senior Consultant at Trinil Oy since April 2007, Markku focuses on sales, negotiations, and customer relations. Previous roles include Head of Data Management at KONE Corporation, where Markku led data professionals to leverage global data assets, and leadership positions at Oy Samlink Ab and Posti Group Oyj, focused on analytics and data solutions. Markku's career began in telecommunications and software consulting, supported by a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Helsinki.
