My Nguyen currently serves as Duty Manager at Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi, having progressed through various roles including Majordome, Front Office Secretary, and Guest Relations Officer since May 2022. Previously, My Nguyen gained experience as a Human Resources Intern at InterContinental Hanoi Landmark72 from March 2021 to July 2021 and worked as a Restaurant Crew Member at McDonald's George Street from October 2014 to November 2017. My Nguyen holds a Bachelor of Tourism and Hospitality Management from RMIT University Vietnam, completed between 2018 and 2021.

The historic Metropole Wing was inspired by classic French architecture with a hint of local Vietnamese style. The more contemporary Opera wing has been renovated to create a harmonious blend between the historic and modern elements of the hotel, and great care was taken to respect the rich heritage of the site while installing the state-of-the-art technology.
