Abi Dakin

Abi Dakin is currently the GRC Lead at Softcat plc, a position held since January 2023, where responsibility includes developing a Cyber Services offering and building an Assurance function. Prior to this role, Abi served as Chief Strategist, focusing on enhancing customer cyber hygiene through GRC and data protection. Abi also held the position of Account Chief Technologist at Capgemini and worked as a Cyber Security Consultant, specializing in Identity & Access Management and business relationship management. Previous experience includes serving as Cyber Assurance and Compliance Lead at Leeds City Council and as Information Compliance & Security at Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council.
