Ricardo Nunes

Ricardo Nunes is a seasoned Unix Linux System Administrator currently employed at Softinsa since October 2019. Prior to this role, Nunes worked at Compta, specializing in Unix and GNU/Linux systems for IBM clients in Portugal from June 2014 to October 2019. Nunes has also held various positions involving system operations and support in banking and data center environments, including roles at Convex/Produban/Santander and GFI Portugal. With experience dating back to 1997, Nunes has developed expertise in system administration, technical support, and infrastructure management across multiple platforms including IBM AIX, HP-UX, and various Linux distributions. Nunes began career with foundational roles in computer repair and support, ultimately earning a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Lisboa.
