Rui Coimbras

Rui Coimbras has extensive experience in leadership and project management within the context of disability advocacy and telecommunications. Currently serving as a Candidate for the Board of Directors of the European Disability Forum at CP-ECA since June 2022 and as President of the Federação das Associações Portuguesas de Paralisia Cerebral since December 2021, Rui Coimbras has dedicated significant efforts to advancing the cause of individuals with cerebral palsy. Previous roles include Solutions Architect at Softinsa, Project Manager at IBM, and various positions within the Federação das Associações Portuguesas de Paralisia Cerebral, where Rui Coimbras contributed to key initiatives for over a decade. A background in telecommunications includes roles as a Technician at Vodafone Portugal and Telecel Portugal, as well as Senior Database Administrator at INE. Rui Coimbras holds a degree from the University of Lisbon, completed between 1990 and 1994.
