Valentin Zmiycharov currently serves as the Director of Education at SoftUni since December 2023. Prior to this role, Valentin held the position of Director of Engineering at Smule, Inc. from June 2021 to November 2023, where leadership focused on five teams and emphasized people development. Previous experiences include serving as a Senior Engineering Manager and a Senior Software Engineering Manager at Cobuilder, contributing to team growth and managing engineering teams. Valentin also worked as a Teaching Assistant at Sofia University, teaching subjects in AI and web technologies, and as a teacher of Python basics at a technological school. With an extensive educational background from Sofia University in Artificial Intelligence, Information Retrieval, and Software Engineering, Valentin is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy degree.
