Pedro Poli

Pedro Poli is an experienced professional in ecology and software quality assurance. Currently serving as Ingénieur QA logiciels at Sogeti since September 2021, Pedro previously contributed to the PODARCIS project as a PhD student at Université de Picardie Jules Verne from October 2017 to January 2021, focusing on integrating genetic diversity into species distribution models related to climate change. Prior to this, Pedro held research roles in landscape ecology as a research assistant at ECOBIO and worked as a biologist consultant at Petrobras, where responsibilities included environmental impact assessments for gas pipelines. Earlier experience includes environmental licensing coordination at Petrobras and a role as a Biólogo / Analista Ambiental at EDP Energias do Brasil S/A. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Ecology and Evolution from Université de Picardie Jules Verne, a Master’s degree in Ecology from Université de Rennes I, and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from USP - Universidade de São Paulo.
