Flaviano Bruno

Flaviano Bruno has extensive experience in the nuclear industry, currently serving as the Head of the Radioactive Waste and Nuclear Material Sector at Sogin since August 2002, where responsibilities include defining management standards and overseeing data management related to radioactive waste and nuclear materials. Previous roles at Sogin include support to the Plant Manager at the Caorso Nuclear Power Plant, as well as serving as a Senior Expert in Nuclear Services and Project Leader for significant projects under the Italian-Russian Cooperation Agreement. Flaviano also contributed to European Commission projects focused on nuclear installation dismantling and was a Project Leader at ENEA for Inventory Review and Characterization activities. Academic credentials include a Master's Degree in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Rome "La Sapienza" and initial practical experience at the Paul Scherrer Institute.
