Jeffrey Char is a seasoned entrepreneur and executive with extensive experience in the renewable energy sector and education. As the Founder and CEO of SOGO Energy Pte. Ltd., Jeffrey Char pioneers innovative solutions for rural communities through clean energy services. In addition, as the Founder and Director of TRENDE Inc., Jeffrey Char helps accelerate solar power adoption in Japan. Current roles include Director and Investor at ShrimpTech JIRCAS株式会社 and Equatorial Power Ltd., as well as a Visiting Professor at the Sasin School of Management and an Adjunct Professor at the National University of Management. Jeffrey Char also contributes to various advisory capacities, including as Chairman of the Advisory Board for Nesma Renewables and as an advisor for Hohm Energy. Educational qualifications include a JD from Harvard Law School and a BS in Economics from Sophia University.
