Bertrand Piccard

President, Initiator, Pilot and Chairman at Solar Impulse Foundation

Bertrand Piccard's work experience includes founding and chairing the Solar Impulse Foundation since 2017. Prior to that, they worked as a motivational speaker at Bertrand Piccard SA since 1992, focusing on topics such as motivation, leadership, and renewable energies. Bertrand also served as a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Environment Program starting in 2015. Additionally, they were the president of the Winds of Hope Foundation and played key roles in initiatives such as SOLAR IMPULSE and Breitling Orbiter. Bertrand Piccard is also a medical doctor specialized in psychiatry and psychotherapy.

From 1979 to 1986, Bertrand Piccard studied at the University of Lausanne, completing a Medical Doctor degree in the Faculty of Medicine.
