Terje Osmundsen

Terje Osmundsen is an accomplished entrepreneur and executive with extensive experience in renewable energy and strategic management. As the Founder and CEO of Empower New Energy since October 2017, Osmundsen leads efforts to address the financing gap for renewable energy projects in developing countries. In addition to this role, Osmundsen serves on the board of directors for several innovative companies, including SolarDuck, Norsk e-Fuel AS, and NextFuel AB, all focused on sustainable energy solutions. Previous positions include Senior Vice President at Scatec Solar and Founder of Mandag Morgen Norge, showcasing a strong background in business development, government relations, and strategic consulting. Osmundsen holds a PhD in Political Science and Government from the University of Oslo, supplemented by degrees in Economics, Sociology, Political Science, and Law.
