The Solaris Health Network is a qualified Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) that was formed to assist Members with establishing a comprehensive purchasing strategy for contracted services. The health care industry is experiencing new and extraordinary challenges. An influx of Medicare and third party audits; an aging patient population with increasingly complex medical needs; new and evolving care models such as Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs) and Medicaid Managed Care. These influences place greater pressure on healthcare facilities to provide quality care in a financially sustainable way. The Solaris Health Network was created to help reduce the time and stress associated with creating and managing a comprehensive purchasing strategy. Providing high-quality health care in a financially responsible and sustainable way requires new ways of working, thinking and connecting. We offer our members the resources needed to effectively manage the procurement of contract services and provide access to a group of industry professionals that are dedicated to helping members improve quality of care and financial outcomes.
