Rebecca Lies

Rebecca Lies is a Process Development Engineer at Solid Power, Inc., beginning in September 2023. Previously, Rebecca served as a Process Engineer at Eli Lilly and Company from July 2020 to August 2023, where responsibilities included supporting manufacturing unit operations and leading engineering qualifications in a GMP facility. Prior to that, during a Chemical Engineering internship at Eli Lilly in 2019, Rebecca designed a delivery system for bulk liquid caustic, which resulted in significant cost savings and process improvements. Earlier internships included a position at Air Products, where Rebecca developed cost estimates for a new air separation plant, and a role as an Electric/Engineering Mechanic with the Dark Energy Survey Project. Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan, earned in May 2020.
