Juergen Gruber has extensive experience in marketing and sales roles in the geosynthetics industry. Juergen started their career at TenCate Geosynthetics Europe in 2002 as a Technical Manager and worked there until September 2011. Juergen then joined TenCate Geosynthetics Austria GmbH and TenCate Geosynthetics Austria Gesellschaft GmbH as Manager of Marketing and Sales. Since 2018, they have been serving as the Geschäftsbereichsleiter (business division manager) at Solmax. In 2020, they took on the role of Vertriebs- und Marketingleiter EMEA (Sales and Marketing Manager EMEA) at Solmax, and currently, they hold the position of Director of Marketing & Innovation EMEA.

Juergen Gruber has a strong educational background in the field of engineering and management. Juergen began their studies at TU Graz in Austria from 1995 to 2002, where they earned a degree in Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen Bauwesen (Engineering Economics and Construction). After gaining industry experience, they pursued further education at FH Mittweida, attending from 2007 to 2011, and successfully completing a Master of Science degree in Industrial Management. In 2017, they further enriched their knowledge by attending California Lutheran University, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in General Management through their Executive MBA program.
