Rob Meder

Rob Meder is a Senior Designer and Associate Principal in SCB’s Chicago office where he brings 12+ years of experience in the design of large-scale and urban mixed-use, aviation, and commercial office projects. Rob leads design with a strong commitment to innovation and a mission to create a positive impact on people through well-designed, high-performing architecture.

Rob is currently involved with the new O’Hare Global Terminal, contributing invaluable experience and design expertise to StudioORD, a joint venture between SCB, Studio Gang, Corgan, Milhouse Engineering & Construction, Inc., and STLarchitects. His recent projects include the Oak Brook headquarters for Hub Group; 625 West Adams, a 20-story speculative office building in Chicago’s West Loop; and 180 Walnut, a new multi-tenant office building at the Banks of Cincinnati riverfront development.

Rob is a leader in the firm’s Office Research & Development Committee and is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). He holds a Bachelor and Master of Architecture from Kent State University and the Illinois Institute of Technology, respectively. He is the Vice-Chair of the Downtown Branch of the Illinois Tech Alumni Association.
