Thomas McGrath

Thomas McGrath is an experienced software engineer with a comprehensive background in application development and system administration. Since April 2019, Thomas has been enhancing and maintaining the Core Advanced payroll system at Paychex while utilizing a variety of technologies including Java, REST, and Spring. Prior to this, Thomas worked at Thomson Reuters from April 1997 to March 2019, where significant contributions included leading teams to develop Java and C/C++ based data conversion systems and designing server/client applications for multiple operating systems. Earlier roles at First Federal Savings and Loan Association and Paychex involved developing software solutions and providing user support. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer and Information Sciences from SUNY Brockport and an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in the same field from Monroe Community College.
