Tarig Hamdi is an experienced Chief Solutions Architect at solutions by stc, with a focus on designing and consulting on technologies including 5G, Smart Cities, Public Cloud, Kubernetes, and DevOps since June 2012. Tarig has led significant projects such as the MISK Smart City initiative, which involves deploying smart services including AI & video analytics, smart irrigation, and traffic systems. Prior to this role, Tarig served as the PS Telecom Manager, overseeing a team of over 40 engineers managing Openstack Telco Cloud and Mobile core projects. Previous positions include STC Technical Team Leader at Saudi Business Machines Ltd. and Network Consulting Engineer at Cisco, where a strong emphasis was placed on MPLS network design and implementation for major telecom clients in Saudi Arabia. Tarig holds a Master's degree in Control Systems from The University of Manchester and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from UCL.
