Umer Ayaz Baig has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of data management, analytics, and business development. Umer Ayaz started their career as a Web Application Developer at Mindblaze Technologies in 2011 and then moved on to work as a Professional Services Consultant at Teradata from 2012 to 2015. After that, they joined Telenor as a Big Data Applications Specialist from 2015 to 2017. Umer then worked at Cognizant as a Senior Consultant and Business Development Manager in Artificial Intelligence and Analytics from 2017 to 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Data Management Lead in Analytics Technologies Delivery at solutions by stc starting from April 2022.
Umer Ayaz Baig completed their Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from NUST from 2007 to 2011, with a focus on databases, programming, and networking. Prior to that, they attended Joint Staff Public School and College Chaklala from 2003 to 2007, where they studied Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. In addition to their formal education, Umer Ayaz Baig has obtained several certifications in various fields such as project management, data management, privacy, and information framework. These certifications were acquired from institutions such as Project Management Institute, OneTrust, Dama International, and TM Forum, among others.
