Erik Johnson, P.E. has extensive work experience in the renewable energy industry. Erik served as the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) at SOLV Energy, where they were responsible for formulating and communicating the company's strategic initiatives and goals. Erik worked closely with the executive team and board of directors to develop growth strategies and drive innovation across existing business units. Prior to that, they held roles at Swinerton, including Operations Manager and Director of Engineering at Swinerton Renewable Energy. In these positions, they managed teams, identified risks, and supported the development of market intelligence and design standards. Erik also worked as a Senior Project Manager at RBF Consulting and a Project Manager at Robert A. Karn & Associates, Inc.
Erik Johnson, P.E. started their education at Cook County High School, where they attended from 1982 to 1989. Erik then went on to St. Olaf College from 1989 to 1993, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and Physics. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Structural Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis, attending from 1993 to 1995. Lastly, they completed their Master of Science degree in Structural Engineering at the University of Minnesota, studying from 1995 to 1997.
