Ajay Kumar Gangrade

Ajay Kumar Gangrade currently serves as Rector at Somaiya Vidyavihar University since April 2022. In addition, Ajay Kumar Gangrade has been associated with K.J. Somaiya College of Engineering, Mumbai, since June 1991, holding the position of Head of Mechanical Engineering from July 2011 to November 2012 and serving as Associate Dean for Academic Planning from 2005 to 2008. The academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Tribology from VJTI, Mumbai (2012-2019), a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Design Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (1994-1996), and a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechanical Engineering from Government Engineering College Jabalpur (1987-1990).
