Tala Khosroheidari

Tala Khosroheidari has a strong background in scientific engagement and marketing. Tala is currently working as the Senior Director of Global Scientific Engagement at SomaLogic, where they previously held the position of Director of Global Scientific Engagement. Prior to that, they worked at Olink Proteomics as the Director of Global Marketing and as a Field Application Scientist. Tala also has experience at Illumina, where they served as a Scientist 2 and Scientist. Additionally, Tala has worked as the Genomic Core Lab Director at the University of California, San Diego, a Research Scientist at the Translational Genomics Research Institute, and a Research Scientist at the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Phoenix. Tala started their career as a PhD Fellow at the International Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology. Before that, they worked as a Research Assistant at the Special Medical Centre in Tehran, Iran.

Tala Khosroheidari has a diverse education history. Tala earned a Master's degree in Bioinformatics from Johns Hopkins University Advanced Academic Programs between 2016 and 2018. Prior to that, they completed a Project Management (PMP) program at UC San Diego from 2014 to 2016. Tala also holds a PhD in Genetics from the International Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB), completed from 2007 to 2009. Their undergraduate studies were focused on Cellular and Molecular Biology, with a major in Microbiology, at Tehran Azad University from 2003 to 2007. Finally, they completed their secondary education at Narjes High School in Tehran, Iran, between 1997 and 2001.
