Prior to this, Payer held various roles at Julius Baer from 1998 to October 2021, including positions in the Tailored Solutions Group, external derivatives sales, and institutional sales for equity OTC-derivatives. Payer's early career includes a role as an Equity Derivatives Sales Specialist at UBS, complemented by a solid educational background featuring a Master of Advanced Studies in Corporate Finance and multiple certifications in business administration and treasury.
