SonALAsense develops SDT (Sonodynamic Therapy) intended to turn glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) patients into cancer survivors. It utilizes MRI-guided focused ultrasound (the device) in combination with aminolevulinic acid (a drug) to selectively target and kill tumor cells.
