James Smalls

James Smalls, II is a seasoned professional in business intelligence and UX development, currently serving as a Senior Business Intelligence UX Developer at Sonic Automotive since May 2021. Previously, James held the position of Senior Designer at BookIt.com from February 2018 to March 2020, where responsibilities included designing email and social media campaigns and advocating for accessibility best practices. Early in the career, James worked as a Junior Designer at Hawkes Learning from July 2016 to January 2018, completing over 600 tasks using Agile workflow practices and managing various media resources. James earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic and Web Design from The Art Institute of Charleston between 2013 and 2015 and attended Howard University from 2009 to 2012.
