Joe Baione is an accomplished jazz vibraphonist and leader of The Joe Baione Jazz Groups, with a career spanning from September 1995 to the present. With a focus on the vibraphone, Joe Baione has contributed to the relative rarity of this instrument in jazz, following in the footsteps of renowned players like Lionel Hampton and Milt Jackson. Additionally, Joe Baione served as the Instrumental Band Director for Grades 5-7 at Lake Forest School Districts 67 & 115 from 1995 to 2009. Joe Baione holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education K-12, with a minor in Jazz Performance, from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, completed between 1989 and 1994.
