Jorge Amiano Goyarrola is an experienced leader in engineering and construction with a robust background in renewable energy and project management. Currently serving as Global Head of Engineering and Construction at Sonnedix since April 2022, Jorge oversees a team of 60, focusing on the company's Engineering and Construction Strategy across multiple countries, aiming for substantial renewable energy targets. Previously, as VP of Business Development at AES-Gener, Jorge transformed the company from conventional to renewable energy, while at Rijn Capital Chile, Jorge managed a pipeline of 800 MW of solar projects. Jorge's extensive experience includes leadership roles at SunEdison, SunPower Corporation, Vestas, and ISOLUX CORSAN, alongside a foundation in engineering education from IESE Business School and TECNUN - Universidad de Navarra.
