Michael Lacalamito

Michael LaCalamito, CPA, currently serves as Associate Director and Head of International Tax at Sonoco since April 2024. Previously, Michael held roles at GSK as Director of International Tax and Strategic Projects from July 2021 to April 2024, and at Hearst as Senior Manager of International Tax for a brief tenure in 2020. Michael extended extensive experience during a six-year period at EY as Senior Manager in International Tax, where expertise included Foreign Tax Credit modeling and forecasting. Early career positions included roles at KPMG US and Alvarez & Marsal, alongside an adjunct professorship at Northern Virginia Community College.
