Richard Sayers

Richard Sayers has extensive experience in engineering and operations management, currently serving as the Manager of Engineering for Industrial and Specialty North America at Sonoco since February 2022. Prior roles at Sonoco include NE Engineering Manager and Operations Excellence Manager for Sonoco Plastics Industrial and Specialty from May 2020 to February 2022, as well as various engineering and managerial positions over a 24-year period, including Operating Excellence Manager for Plastics North America and Senior Manufacturing Engineering Manager within Sonoco's global plastics division. Richard Sayers earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst between 1990 and 1995.
