Russell Long

Russell Long serves as the Director of Finance for Latin America at Sonoco since August 2004, overseeing regional financial operations for divisions in South America. Long's tenure includes roles as Division Controller for the Packaging Services division and earlier positions at Sonoco For-Plas, where responsibilities included managing a manufacturing facility and overseeing multiple manufacturing processes. Prior experience includes serving as Finance & Administrative Manager and Financial Analyst at Sonoco, providing support in various financial analyses and reporting. Russell Long began their career with an internship in finance at General Motors Venezolana. Educational achievements include a Master’s degree in International Business and Finance from the University of South Carolina Darla Moore School of Business and a Bachelor's degree in Spanish and Business Administration from the University of South Carolina.
