Previously, Shaka held various prominent roles, including Vice President, Associate General Counsel at Sony Electronics, and Associate General Counsel, AR/VR at Facebook, leading legal teams in sales and marketing across multiple sectors such as retail, ecommerce, and corporate communications. Earlier career experiences include serving as Associate General Counsel at Oculus VR, Corporate Counsel at Sanyo North America Corporation and Gateway, Inc., and as a litigation attorney at Higgs Fletcher & Mack. Shaka received a JD from the University of San Diego School of Law and holds a BS in Business Administration from Sonoma State University.
