Rob Thompson

Rob Thompson is an accomplished professional in Quality Assurance with extensive experience in the gaming industry. Currently serving as the Director of QA Test Services at PlayStation since March 2015, Rob leads the management structure for product and game development studios, ensuring industry-leading test coverage across various Sony platforms. Previously, Rob held positions at Sony Online Entertainment from December 2002 to February 2015, including Sr. Director of Quality Assurance, where responsibilities encompassed project management across multiple platforms, QA service team management, and overseeing a large number of QA teams. Rob's educational background includes a BA from Humboldt State University, completed between 1997 and 2001, and a diploma from De La Salle High School, graduated in 1994.
