Mark Piibe is an experienced executive in the music industry, currently serving as the Executive Vice President of Global Business Development and Digital Strategy at Sony Music Entertainment since January 2013. Prior to this role, Mark held several leadership positions at EMI Music from December 2007 to December 2012, including Executive Vice President of Global Business Development and SVP and Global Head of Digital Business Development. Mark's earlier experience includes serving as Senior VP & Head of Content at MusicGremlin and Associate General Counsel at Napster. Mark began their career as an Associate at Arnold & Porter from 1998 to 2001. Academically, Mark earned an MBA from INSEAD in 2001, an LLB & BCL in Common and Civil Laws from McGill University in 1994, and a BA in Political Science from McGill University in 1989.
