Jeffrey Korchek is a senior executive with extensive experience in business affairs and legal matters within the entertainment industry. Currently serving as Executive Vice President of Business Affairs and Strategy at Sony Pictures Animation since July 2015, Korchek oversees business affairs, strategy, and administration for animated productions. Prior to this role, Korchek held various positions at Mattel, Inc., including Vice President of Licensing Acquisitions and Business Affairs and Vice President of Legal and Business Affairs, where responsibilities encompassed licensing agreements and entertainment production. Korchek's career also includes tenure as a Senior Executive at USA Entertainment, a Literary Agent at Broder Kurland Webb Uffner, and Executive Vice President of Business and Legal Affairs at Universal Pictures. Korchek earned a JD/MBA from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and The Wharton School, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley, with additional studies at The University of Edinburgh.
