Tuomas Neuvonen

Tuomas Neuvonen is the CEO and Founder of Sooma Medical, where relevant contributions began in August 2013 with the conception of the company's idea and product development, including securing venture funding. Prior to this, Tuomas held the position of Chief Physicist at Nexstim from November 2007 to July 2013, leading application development projects for brain stimulation systems and technology assessments for EEG products. Earlier experience includes roles as R&D Physicist, Research Scientist at the University of Helsinki, and Hospital Physicist at Helsinki University Central Hospital, focusing on neurophysiology measurement and research. Tuomas holds a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Physics, and Information Science from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan, with additional studies at Université Paul Sabatier, Toulouse.
