Jonathan Oglesbee

Jonathan Oglesbee serves as the School Director at Sora Schools since June 2022, following an extensive career in educational leadership, primarily at Sandy Spring Friends School where Jonathan held roles as Head of Upper School and Middle School Division Head from July 2014 to June 2022. Previously, Jonathan contributed to The Key School as a Middle School Humanities Teacher, Team Leader, and Life Skills Coordinator from August 2008 to July 2014. Additional experience includes teaching at St. John's Episcopal School and pastoral roles at Brown Memorial Woodbrook Presbyterian Church and First Presbyterian Church. Educational credentials include a Graduate Certificate in Independent School Leadership from The Johns Hopkins University and a Master of Divinity from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, alongside Bachelor's degrees in Music from Indiana University Bloomington. Jonathan's expertise encompasses curriculum design, technology integration, differentiated instruction, and community engagement.
