Edgars Hercenbergs is a seasoned tax professional with extensive experience in direct tax, international tax, and transfer pricing. Currently serving as a Senior Associate at Sorainen since December 2022, Edgars specializes in digital solutions for tax and economic financial analysis. From July 2019 to December 2022, Edgars was a Senior Tax Associate at Rödl & Partner, focusing on transfer pricing digital services. Edgars has also held positions such as Guest Lecturer in international tax at Rīgas Tehniskā universitāte, Head of Transfer Pricing Unit at the State Revenue Service of Latvia, and a Lawyer in court and tax audit at the State Revenue Service. Prior to that, Edgars served as a Judge's Associate at the Administrative Regional Court and worked as a Senior Specialist at the Competition Council of Latvia. Edgars holds a Master of Laws from Latvijas Universitate and is currently pursuing an Advanced Diploma in International Taxation from the Chartered Institute of Taxation in London.
