Søren Jensen
Lars Hestbech is a Structural Engineer with extensive experience in both academia and industry. Since July 2013, Lars has been employed at Søren Jensen Rådgivende Ingeniørfirma, where expertise in structural design is applied. Prior to this, Lars served as a Ph.D. student at the University of Aarhus from October 2008 to May 2013, focusing research on reinforced concrete structures, rotational capacity, and structural dynamics, particularly in earthquake engineering. Lars's early career includes positions as a Structural Engineer at Grontmij | Carl Bro and as a trainee at NIRAS. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. and a Master of Science in Structural Engineering from Aarhus University, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering and a stint as a Visiting Scholar at the University of California, Berkeley.
