Andy Petersen

Andy Petersen is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in platform engineering, DevOps, and technical account management. Currently serving as the Sr. Platform Engineering Manager at Sorenson Communications since April 2022, Andy manages a team focused on enhancing the developer experience through the creation of an Internal Developer Portal and the implementation of self-service solutions. Prior roles include Manager of IT Platform Engineering at Sorenson, and Enterprise Support Lead at Amazon Web Services, where insights were provided to diverse customers on AWS services. Andy has also held positions as a Sr. DevOps Engineer and Voice Engineer at Sorenson Communications and as a Network Engineer at Cache Valley Electric. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from the University of Utah and an Associate of Science in General Studies from Casper College.
