Junlai Liu

Junlai Liu is a Scientist at Sorrento Therapeutics, Inc. since December 2022, specializing in early research and development of mRNA vaccines for infectious diseases and cancer. Prior to this role, Junlai Liu served as a Postdoctoral Scholar at UC San Diego from August 2019 to December 2022, focusing on Non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) under the supervision of Dr. Michael Karin. Junlai Liu earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences between 2014 and 2019.
