Barbara D. Waginski

Barbara D. Waginski has extensive experience in the art and jewelry sectors, currently serving as Assistant Vice President and Business Development Manager at Sotheby's since September 2012. Waginski has held various roles at Sotheby's, including Project Manager for Jewelry and Administrator for both Jewelry and Toronto. Prior to Sotheby's, Waginski volunteered as a blogger for Artoronto.ca, focusing on artist interviews and gallery reviews, and managed Bakery Garden Cafe. Academic qualifications include a Graduate Gemologist degree from the Gemological Institute of America and a Master of Arts in Fine Art History from York University, complemented by an Honours Bachelor of Arts with Distinction from the University of Toronto. Leadership skills were further developed with a certificate from the School for Leaders Association.
