Beatrice Yu

Beatrice Yu is currently an Assistant Pre-Sale Manager at Sotheby's, specializing in Modern and Contemporary Art as well as Chinese Work of Art, a position held since May 2022. Prior to this, Beatrice served as a Senior Pre-sale Coordinator focusing on Contemporary Art at the same organization. Previous experience includes working as an Assistant Underwriter for Financial Lines at Tysers and a Department Assistant at Phillips, where the focus was on Jewellery and Jadeite. Beatrice has also held various internships, including positions at Galerie Ora-Ora for Art Basel Hong Kong and Halcyon Gallery. Academically, Beatrice holds a Master of Arts in Art Business from Sotheby's Institute of Art and a Bachelor of Arts in Media, Communications and Cultural Studies from Goldsmiths, University of London.
