Charlotte van Dercook

Charlotte Van Dercook has extensive experience in the contemporary art sector, currently serving as the Head of Marquee Private Sales, Contemporary Art, and related leadership roles at Sotheby's since 2014. Prior to this, Charlotte held various positions at Sotheby's, including Specialist and Associate Cataloger in Contemporary Art, as well as an internship in 2013. Additional internship experience includes working at Christie's in 2012, focusing on American Paintings, and at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in 2011 within Concerts and Lectures and Development. Charlotte Van Dercook earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History, with additional concentrations in Government and History, from Hamilton College in 2014 and also pursued education at UCL and Trinity School in New York City.
