Casey Gainor is an experienced IT professional currently serving as the Manager for IT Service Desk and IT Knowledge Management at Sound Transit since April 2021, where leadership of Service Desk operations and the enterprise Knowledge Management strategy is key to supporting over 4,000 users. Prior to this role, Casey held various positions at Sound Transit, including IT Operations Analyst and Major Incident Manager, driving process improvements and technical implementations. Previous experience includes co-founding and managing marketing strategies for The Bad Tenants, leading Service Desk operations at The Seattle Times, and serving as an Editorial Analyst for Xbox LIVE. With a foundation in journalism, Casey obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Western Washington University and an Associate’s Degree from Whatcom Community College, showcasing strong communication skills applicable across diverse roles in IT and operations.
