Dennis Story

Dennis Story is an experienced Senior System Engineer specializing in Communications and SCADA at Sound Transit since December 2023. Previously, Dennis served as Communications Systems Manager at the Department of Transportation Services for the City and County of Honolulu from August 2020 to February 2024. A significant portion of Dennis's career was spent at Dallas Area Rapid Transit, where from July 1997 to August 2020, roles included Senior Manager of Communications & Control Systems, overseeing a $6.1 million budget and managing 45 employees, as well as serving as a Signals Maintainer responsible for maintenance and repair of the Signal System. Dennis's military background includes 20 years with the US Army, achieving the rank of Chief Warrant Officer 2 and gaining expertise in Armament Repair and Air Defense Communications. Educational qualifications consist of a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts and Sciences with an emphasis on Business from Excelsior University, attained between 1993 and 1998.
