Yusuf Abdoola

Yusuf Abdoola is an experienced leader in the fields of information technology and project management, currently serving as the Head of the Office of the CIO at the South African Reserve Bank since March 2023. Prior to this role, Yusuf held positions such as Executive: Corporate Services at the South African Bank Note Company, where responsibilities included overseeing IT, Human Resources, Project Office, and Engineering services, and Executive: Governance, Strategy and Integration at the South African Mint. Previous experience also includes serving as Divisional Head of Projects and Information Management at the South African Reserve Bank, Programme Office Manager at National Treasury, and Project Office Manager at De Beers, among other roles. Yusuf's academic background includes a BCom Hons in Business Management from the University of South Africa and a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand.
