Tom Boyle has extensive work experience in the shipping and logistics industry. Tom started their career in 2015 as a Port Captain at Maersk Line, where they worked until January 2019. In 2019, they joined South Carolina Ports Authority as the Director of Vessel Operations and Carrier Sales.
Tom Boyle attended the United States Merchant Marine Academy from 2005 to 2009, where they pursued a degree in Marine Transportation. Later, from 2013 to 2014, they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus in Finance, General at the College of Charleston.
