Emily Chan Cmt

Emily Chan CMT currently serves as the Team Head of Analytics at Bloomberg, where responsibilities include developing relationships with various corporate and financial entities and driving new business sales. With extensive experience in equity and technical analysis, Emily has delivered numerous keynotes and seminars across the Asia-Pacific region. In academia, Emily lectures on financial data and fintech at The Chinese University of Hong Kong and Hong Kong Baptist University while holding an advisory role at UOW College. Additionally, involvement in professional organizations includes serving as a committee member for the Hong Kong Data Science Society and previously holding a committee position at the FinTech Association of Hong Kong. Emily has contributed to the South China Morning Post as an op-ed writer and has a background in public service as a former Assistant Secretary for the HKSAR Government, focusing on human rights treaties and compliance. Educational qualifications include a Postgraduate Diploma in Strategy and Innovation from the University of Oxford and a Master of Laws from The University of Hong Kong.
