Randy Hoover

Randy Hoover is a Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at South Dakota Mines, where Randy has served since August 2009 after progressing from Assistant Professor to Associate Professor. Prior to this role, Randy Hoover obtained a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Colorado State University while also completing a Master's degree in Measurement and Control Engineering at Idaho State University, where Randy Hoover conducted research on Control Systems and Autonomous Systems. Randy Hoover's academic foundation includes a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, also from Idaho State University.
