Yong Pan

Yong Pan is a PhD student at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, engaged in full-time research since May 2018. Prior to this, Yong Pan worked full-time as a Blasting Engineer at COMILU from September 2013 to June 2016, where responsibilities included monitoring open-pit mining conditions, controlling fly rock and vibration from blasts, optimizing blasting parameters, and researching mineral processing techniques. Academically, Yong Pan earned a Master’s degree in Mining Engineering in December 2018 and a Doctor of Philosophy in Mining Engineering in December 2020, both from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology.
